At the Athletic Adventures Aquatic Center, we create a nurturing and inclusive environment for children to learn to swim and appreciate the water. Our "Learn to Swim" programs welcome kids of all abilities through a child-centered approach in a fun, structured setting.
Our water confidence coaches use positive encouragement and developmentally appropriate activities that prioritize safety. Lessons include games, songs, and toys, helping children see swimming as enjoyable and overcoming any fear of water.
We focus on building foundational swimming skills and supporting your child's journey to confidence and mastery in the water.

What to Expect in Our Classes
All of our small classes provide personalized instruction in a comfortably warm 92°F pool, with a 2:1 student-to-instructor ratio. We group our classes by age, but every swimmer is taught at their own skill level; whether they are taking their very first splash as a beginner or refining advanced techniques, we create a cozy, stress-free environment for learning and fun.
Looking for more individualized instruction? Private lessons offer one-on-one coaching tailored to your swimmer’s specific needs and goals, while semi-private lessons allow two siblings or friends to learn together with individualized attention.

Aqua Babies | 6-15mo
Welcome to Aqua Babies, our parent-and-tot class! This program is a wonderful introduction to the water, marking your little one's first dive into the aquatic world. Our courses are designed to help your youngest children explore splashing and swimming with you by their side.
Aqua Tots | 16mo-3yrs
Little swimmers, big splashes! Aqua Tots is all about building confidence and comfort in the water while developing essential swimming and safety skills. Through fun, age-appropriate activities, our coaches help every child learn, grow, and become more independent in the water.
Aqua Kids 1 | 4-5yrs
Big skills, big smiles! Aqua Kids 1 helps young swimmers build confidence, independence, and essential swimming skills through fun, age-appropriate activities. Our coaches meet every swimmer where they are, helping them grow their skills and love for the water.
Aqua Kids 2 | 6+yrs
Ready to take their swimming to the next level? Aqua Kids 2 helps swimmers build strength, endurance, confidence, and proper technique while having fun in the water. Our coaches provide personalized support to help every swimmer become a stronger, more independent swimmer.
