Policy Questions

What if my child is not feeling well?

Please notify Athletic Adventures as soon as possible, either by calling the front desk or using the parent portal. You must inform us before class to receive a make-up token.

If your child is not feeling well—experiencing fevers, cramps, diarrhea, or an upset stomach—please do not bring them to class. We would prefer to reschedule one child rather than risk 200 others. Please understand that many parents travel long distances and make great efforts to arrive at our classes on time. We want to avoid disappointing anyone due to a preventable issue.

What if my child needs to make up a class?

  • Athletic Adventures Aquatic Center will allow ONE make-up class a month.
  • Please call our front desk to schedule your make-up class.
  • Attendees MUST register for a make-up class before attending.
  • We cannot guarantee the same teacher, time, or student ratio for group lesson make-ups.
  • Absences cannot be credited to the next month’s tuition
  • You must be enrolled in a class in the aquatic center to use a make-up token.
  • Gym and swim makeups are non-transferable.

What if Athletic Adventures Aquatic Center cancels my child’s class or has an unplanned closure?

If the Athletic Adventures Aquatic Center experiences an unplanned class cancellation or pool closure, we will notify you promptly using the text and email information in your parent portal account. You will then be provided with a make-up token to reschedule.

Please be aware that this notification may occur while you are on your way to our facility, and we may not always be able to inform you before your arrival.

What is your diaper policy?

  • Safety is our NUMBER 1 priority!! Prevention is the way to make sure accidents don't occur in the pool!
  • Students who have been potty trained for less than 6 months, and those NOT COMPLETELY potty trained, must wear 2 SNUG-FITTING REUSABLE swim diapers.
  • According to the CDC, no swim diaper holds fecal material for more than 3-5 minutes. By double diapering, we hope to get the full 5 minutes.
  • Although we don’t require the brand (Happy Nappy) of reusable diapers we sell, we have found them to be the best in containing fecal material. Reusable swim diapers can be purchased in our swim shop.
  • All cloth swim diapers need to pass the two-finger test; if you can insert two fingers under the elastic of the legs and waist, the swim diaper is too large, and the child will not be allowed in the water.

Poop happens! Unfortunately, it sometimes occurs in swimming pools, which can lead to closures. Prevention is better for everyone involved.

Please ensure that your child visits the bathroom before the lesson starts, even if they went at home. If you see your child doing the “potty dance” or making the “potty face,” please take them out of class and bring them to the bathroom. Some children may be reluctant to inform the teacher if they need to go.

What is your Billing Policy?

Athletic Adventures Aquatic Center provides two billing options: Monthly or Annual Rates.

What is your Billing Policy?

Athletic Adventures Aquatic Center provides two billing options:
Monthly or Annual Rate.

Monthly Rate Enrollment Members:

  • All new Monthly enrollments are committed for a 12-week enrollment period.
    • An online drop form can be submitted at the end of the 12-week enrollment period.
  • Monthly enrollment charges are billed by the 25th of each month for the following month.
  • You are required to have a Credit Card on file. Members who enroll in the Monthly Enrollment plan agree that Athletic Adventures Activity Center may bill their financial institution monthly.
  • To avoid being billed for the next month, you must submit an Online Drop Request by the 15th of the month before your desired drop month. For instance, if you decide not to continue classes in September, you were charged for that month on or around August 25. You can choose to attend classes in September, but to prevent being billed for October, you must submit the drop request through the Parent Portal by September 15. Requests will not be accepted via phone, text, or email.

  • Monthly Rate enrollment members have no long-term commitment beyond their initial 12-week session, allowing them the convenience of withdrawing at any time during the year without penalty.
  • Monthly tuition members can switch to annual enrollment members at any time.

Annual Rate Enrollment Members:

  • Tuition is billed monthly by the 25th of each month.
  • You are required to have a credit card on file.
  • Annual rate members pay a reduced tuition rate for a 12-month commitment. Annual Rate members may submit an Online Drop Request after 1 year to discontinue enrollment without penalty.

**Annual Enrollment Terms**

Members who enroll in the Annual Enrollment plan agree that Athletic Adventures Activity Center may bill their financial institution monthly for 12 months, starting from the date of their first class.

Drop requests can only be submitted after the 12-month anniversary of enrollment. After this initial period, members can continue at a reduced rate or switch to a monthly enrollment status at the increased monthly rate.

Additionally, annual enrollment members can switch to monthly enrollment at any time. However, they will incur a fee for the difference between the yearly and monthly tuition rates.

Please note that any annual member requesting to drop their enrollment before their 12-month anniversary date will also be subject to payback fees reflecting the difference between the yearly and monthly tuition rates.

Drop Policy

All members must submit an Online Drop Request through the family portal before their intended drop date by the 15th of the month. Requests to drop will not be accepted via phone, email, or text.

Additionally, any customer enrolled as an annual member who requests to drop before their 12-month anniversary date will be required to pay the difference in fees between yearly and monthly tuition.

For Example: It is September and you decide you do not want to continue classes. Please note, you will have already been charged for the month. You can choose to attend the remaining classes, or not. To avoid being billed for October, submit a drop request through the parent portal by the 15th of September. Drop requests will not be processed via phone, text, or email.

No Refund Policy

The Athletic Adventures has a No Refund Policy.

The Aquatic Center is offering a one-time 30 day money back guarantee on all NEW enrollments.
